As the group were recovering from the battle against the Daedric creatures spilling out of the portal, some of them tried to attack the humanoid within. This, however, seemed to be impossible, as no weapons or spells pierced through the magical barrier. The watching creature from within simply shook its head, and portal vanished, leaving the party to investigate the stone structure, finding nothing of interest. While discussing what to do next, a familliar creature appeared nearby, the watchling from before was here to inform the group that her summoner, Bralen Droves, will be meeting them in the courtyard behind the alchemy shop in the Imperial City.

And so, the group traveled to the city, given the privilege of entering with no questions asked, as one of them was a member of the Imperial Cult, a highly respected faction within Cyrodiil. Once inside, Brother Decimus lead the party towards the Temple District to meet up with his superior there, Luther Thullius who suggested that they collaborate with Bralen, for now, so that they can gather more information about the situation. Based on these instructions, the party made their way towards the Market District, and cautiously entered the courtyard behind the ‘The Main Ingredient’, wary of possible traps. However, none were found, and instead, the cultist who asked for them emerged from the backdoor of one of the neighbouring houses, and welcomed them inside.

Once inside, Bralen provided the party with some valuable information, although some might not have felt it was enough. He said that, as a member of the Primeval Seekers, his goal is to uncover as much secret knowledge as possible. Being helped by Hermaeus Mora, the Daedric Prince of knowledge and secrets, he was bound to aid in certain tasks when necessary; this being one of them. When asked about the other group, who had captured the party, Bralen said that they are an upstart cult, intending to release an ancient power, possible a new Daedric Prince, which would inevitably introduce a whole lot of chaos into Tamriel, should this really happen. When asked how they discovered about this group of cultists and about the party being captured, Bralen said that his master had ‘felt ripples in fate’, and that after interrogating some of the cultists defeated at Southpoint, they discovered that these people had found or heard of a prophecy that mentioned the members of this adventuring group by name. Furthermore, these cultists seem to be backed by Dremora, powerful Daedric creatures who usually serve as captains and generals in Daedric armies.
After the meeting with the cultist in the Market District, the group decided to reconvene back at the Temple of the Divines, where they met with Luther Thullius again to update him with the new information gained.
