A clash of Order and Chaos

Some members of the Bush Nights had studied trolls in the past, and believing that the ones looking for them were forest trolls, who are quite comfortable fighting in the woods, the adventurers charged to meet their enemies in the clearing. With a few minor injuries, the group managed to fell the smaller group of trolls, quite a feat, but they could thank the gods they did not need to deal with their leader as well. Once the monsters were dealt with, Ja’Karo and Morag spent some time harvesting some body parts from the trolls to be used in potions, and Hisskär tore off their skills to sell off to anyone who would pay for them.

Not wanting to miss out on some treasure that the minotaur might have had in their territory, the group started following tracks left behind by the trolls, aiming to hunt down the rest and sweep the area. However, as they were travelling, they noticed an ambush ready for them, and fought back. It turned out to be a group of cultists who broke a few large crystals which summoned a group of crystalline knights. This was a much harder fight, these knights were quite hard to put down, and having the cultists sling spells at the group from up in the trees, the group found this was one of the worst situations they had found themselves in. With two members unconscious and others already injured, this was not looking good.

As everything was looking bleak, a familliar voice rang out. “Oh this does not look good, not good at all.” And then all of a sudden, small portals opened up underneath each member’s feet, and they fell into a dark room, where a balding old man offered them a seat and discussed with their situation with them. This was Haskill, Sheogorath’s right hand man. He explained that what the party fought was a group of Jyggallag cultists who summoned Knights of Order, Daedric creatures under the command of the Daedric Prince of Order. His master transported the group into his realm to get them out of a tight spot, as well as mentioning that they were to go through a trial. He also mentioned that Z and Naarean had already passed through. Once their conversation was over, Haskill vanished, and the walls around them fell over, revealing where they were. So now, within an area of the Shivering Isles, they were told they need to meet the Gatekeeper at the Gates of Madness.
