Fighting the Bone Colossus was a challenge, but not a show stopper, not for the Bush Nights anyways; gods know who the bones in this place once belonged to. During the fight, this massive skeletal construct shifted in shape, making it hard to pin down, and threw entire skeletons at the party, right out of its rib cage, making the numbers more equal.
Even though the fight dragged on quite a bit, many of the party starting to feel its toll, the Bone Colossus started to show a lot of wear, with most of its bones starting to detach from one another, only holding on by pink magical strands; similar to the magic that created it, this magic seemed to sustain it past destruction.
However, having some knowledge in arcana, the group realised that four pillars made of skulls, one in every corner of this compound, were what was keeping the Bone Colossus in one piece. Splitting up the group, they quickly destroyed the pillars and the magic holding the golem in one piece was dispelled, and the mass of bones crashed into a pile at the center of the courtyard, unmoving.
Having survived this ordeal, and managing to secure all the ingredients necessary to rebuild the Gatekeeper at the Gates of Madness, the group made their way back to Passwall, where they returned to Nanette Don, who confirmed that what they had gathered should be enough. Lastly, and in secret through a magical whisper, she told Decimus that they also need the soul of a Daedric creature, a powerful one, not a measly grummite.
