As the group started to regain their bearings within the Imperial City, a courier ran up to them and gave a letter to Decimus, Ieaga, and Morag. Based on the contents of these letters, the group agreed that next on their travel list should be the province of Skyrim.
However, before the group travelled anywhere, they needed to close off a quest they had underwent, Dexion Marinus’s rescue. Unfortunately, when the group was teleported to the Shivering Isles, the young man was not transported with them. But they did know someone who could help. Bralen, the Hermeaus Mora cultist, was their first stop. Firstly, they asked about the current political climate in Skyrim, and what the best way to get there was. Secondly, they asked if he could locate a person who is lost in the woods East of Bruma. He said that if he could find Dexion, he will teleport to his place early the next morning. They rested at his place for the night, and in the morning, he did return with the body of the lad, thorn to shreds by the crystalline Knights of Order who were fighting the Bush Nights prior to their travel to the Shivering Isles.

Thanking Bralen for his help, the group next visited their patron, Elorenne Ashcroft, the Breton noble who was interested in having some leverage on other nobles within the city. The return of Dexion’s body was not the best outcome, but it could still be used for her needs. Payment was made, with a bonus due to the group’s additional information about the situation around the Johnson Manor.
Once this was done, all that was left was to rest up and prepare for their travels. However, that is not the Bush Nights way. Hisskär mentioned that he had been thinking about participating in the city arena; with Ja’Karo and Ieaga agreeing about this different kind of break from their usual ways. Facing two brutish Orsimer and a sneaky Bosmer, the three members of the Bush Nights, naming themselves the Pain Barbaingers for the event, ripped them apart, quite literally. While this was happening, the rest joined the crowds, making some money by betting on their friends to win the bout.
