Spreading across the city, the Bush Nights, now known as the Historians and Antiquarians Society, or the HAS for short, gathered some more intel about the current situation in Skyrim. Furthermore, they also managed to acquire a temporary base of operations, a small run down workshop in the outskirts of the Housing Ward. Although they acquired this location through sheer intimidation of its owner, this did not stop them from attempting to sell it off to get more money for a better place, a plan which was put on hold due to their lack of deed of ownership. Once they decided to hold on to this place for the moment, the group decided it to spruce it up a bit, adding some furniture and equipment, most looking like a torturer’s den… To each their own.

Once they had set up, they contacted Bralen, their friendly lore keeper, to ask about the political landscape of Skyrim, especially with regards to the so called King in Markarth. The cultist teleported to Whiterun, and visited them using divination magic to find their location. Not entirely impressed by their selected location, although he commended them on being low key, he joined them inside for some spilling of tea. Firstly, the group asked about King Valerius Marcellus and his selected elites. Hi did provide valuable information, the most important point being that the king’s right hand woman, Royal Advisor Elara Thorne, is secretly a Thalmor agent. Furthermore, the General who is in charge of Solitude has signed the New Concord, allowing King Marcellus to rule over Solitude. General Artemis One-Eye and General Harald the Kind have still not signed this agreement.
Lastly, he mentioned that their older quarry, Thorvesad, has been located here in Whiterun. Through magic, he had found that this Dremora was residing at the house of an old friend of his, and visiting Dragonsreach quite often. This worried the cultist, as this is where the Masked Lords, the governers of Whiterun, held council.
